Het Vachtje is een Amsterdamse dierenspeciaalzaak en hondenboetiek aan de Haarlemmerdijk, opgericht door Nicole de Vries. In de winkel en webshop voert Het Vachtje meer dan tweeduizend producten voor honden, katten, knaagdieren, vogels, vissen en reptielen, zorgvuldig geselecteerd op kwaliteit.
In ruim 250 vierkante meter winkel aan de Haarlemmerdijk 97-105 vindt u voeding, snacks, accessoires, vachtverzorging en onze trimsalon onder één dak. Klanten komen voor advies dat klopt, een assortiment dat is geselecteerd en niet gevuld, en een team dat uw dier en uw vragen kent.
Persoonlijk advies
Ons team heeft samen meer dan twintig jaar ervaring in de dierenbranche. Wij geven advies op basis van wat past bij uw dier, niet op basis van wat verkoopt.
Zelf geselecteerd
Wij voeren niet alles wat de markt biedt. Elk merk in ons assortiment is door ons zelf gekozen, op samenstelling, herkomst en kwaliteit.
Uniek boetiekassortiment
Merken als 4LAZYLEGS, William Walker, DWAM en Carnis zijn elders in Nederland nauwelijks te vinden. Bij Het Vachtje kunt u ze passen, vergelijken en bestellen.
Onze webshop
Vrijwel het volledige winkelassortiment kunt u ook online bestellen via hetvachtje.nl. Wij verzenden binnen Nederland en daarbuiten, ook naar België en Duitsland.

Onze trimsalon
In onze trimsalon verzorgen wij honden van alle rassen en formaten: knippen, plukken, wassen en complete vachtverzorging. Wij hebben ervaring met huid- en oorproblematiek, ook bij rassen als Doodles, poedels en honden met huidplooien.
Wij zijn gecertificeerd hondentrimmer en aangesloten bij de ABHB. Voor afspraken belt u 06 1657 7844.
Dierenvoeding
Wij voeren voeding voor honden en katten in verschillende richtingen: dieet, biologisch, vegetarisch, graanvrij en rauwvlees. Voor knaagdieren, (buiten)vogels en vissen hebben wij het hele basisassortiment in huis.
Levend voer voor reptielen leveren wij wekelijks op bestelling. Twijfelt u welke voeding bij uw dier past, vraag het ons in de winkel of via de chat.
Vachtverzorging
Voor de verzorging thuis voeren wij vachtverzorgende producten en professionele trimbenodigdheden. Wij helpen u graag op weg met het juiste gebruik.
Voor klanten met een hond met huid- of oorproblemen denken wij mee, in overleg met uw dierenarts waar nodig.
Duurzaam en biologisch
Een ruim deel van ons assortiment is duurzaam, biologisch of ecologisch geproduceerd. Wij selecteren bewust op herkomst en productiewijze, omdat dit voor steeds meer van onze klanten een vanzelfsprekend uitgangspunt is.

Customers come to us for advice that holds up, an assortment that is chosen rather than filled, and a team that knows your animal and your questions. Our staff speaks English, and we ship worldwide.

Our grooming salon
In our grooming salon we care for dogs of all breeds and sizes: clipping, hand stripping, washing and full coat care. We are experienced with skin and ear concerns, including breeds like Doodles, poodles and dogs with skin folds.
We are a certified dog groomer and a member of the ABHB. For appointments please call +31 6 1657 7844.
Pet food
We carry food for dogs and cats across several approaches: prescription, organic, vegetarian, grain-free and raw. For small animals, birds and fish we stock the full base assortment.
Live food for reptiles is ordered weekly. Not sure which food fits your animal? Ask us in the shop or via chat.
Grooming supplies
For at-home grooming we stock coat care products and professional grooming supplies. We are happy to help you use them correctly.
For customers with a dog that has skin or ear concerns we think along with you, in consultation with your vet where needed.
Sustainable and organic
A substantial part of our assortment is sustainably, organically or ecologically produced. We choose deliberately on origin and production method, because this matters more and more to our customers.
