Klarna is een Zweedse betaaldienst waarmee u uw bestelling bij Het Vachtje achteraf, in termijnen of direct kunt betalen. U beslist zelf hoe en wanneer u betaalt, en u ziet alles overzichtelijk terug in de Klarna-app of via klarna.com.

Kosten van Klarna
Het gebruik van Klarna kost u niets, mits u op tijd betaalt. Er worden geen rente of administratiekosten in rekening gebracht voor "Betaal later" en "Betaal in 3 delen". Het bedrag dat u bij Het Vachtje afrekent, is hetzelfde bedrag dat u uiteindelijk aan Klarna betaalt.
Aankoopbescherming
Klarna biedt kopersbescherming: u hoeft pas te betalen wanneer u uw bestelling daadwerkelijk heeft ontvangen. Ontvangt u niets, of klopt er iets niet met uw bestelling? Dan kunt u dit melden via de Klarna-app en pauzeert Klarna uw betaling tot het probleem is opgelost.
Kredietcheck
Bij gebruik van "Betaal later" of "Betaal in 3 delen" voert Klarna een kredietbeoordeling uit. Klarna kijkt of u in aanmerking komt voor uitgestelde betaling. Voor "Betaal later" wordt uw kredietscore niet beïnvloed. Voor "Betaal in 3 delen" kan dit in sommige gevallen wel impact hebben. Wilt u dit precies weten, kijk dan op klarna.com voor de actuele voorwaarden.
Te laat betalen kost geld. Als u niet binnen de gestelde termijn betaalt, stuurt Klarna eerst een kosteloze herinnering. Wordt er daarna nog niet betaald, dan brengt Klarna aanmaningskosten in rekening. Blijft betaling uit, dan kan de factuur naar incasso worden overgedragen, met aanvullende kosten en mogelijke gevolgen voor uw kredietregistratie. De actuele tarieven staan op klarna.com.
Veelgestelde vragen
Wanneer begint mijn betaaltermijn?
De termijn van 30 dagen voor "Betaal later" begint op de dag dat wij uw bestelling verzenden, niet op de dag van bestellen. U ontvangt van Klarna een betaalinstructie zodra de termijn ingaat.
Wat als ik mijn bestelling retourneer?
Stuurt u (een deel van) uw bestelling retour? Zodra wij uw retour hebben verwerkt, geven wij dit door aan Klarna. Klarna past uw factuur aan of sluit deze af als u alles heeft geretourneerd. Het is verstandig om in de Klarna-app uw openstaande betaling pas te voldoen nadat de retour is verwerkt.
Kan ik mijn betaaltermijn verlengen?
Ja, u kunt uw betaaltermijn in de Klarna-app één keer verlengen. Soms is dit kosteloos, soms tegen een kleine vergoeding. Dit regelt u rechtstreeks in de Klarna-app.
Vanaf welke leeftijd kan ik Klarna gebruiken?
U moet minimaal 18 jaar oud zijn om gebruik te maken van Klarna. Daarnaast moet u in Nederland woonachtig zijn en moet u op het moment van aanvraag aan de voorwaarden van Klarna voldoen.
Waar regel ik mijn betaling?
U kunt uw Klarna-betalingen beheren in de Klarna-app (gratis te downloaden) of op klarna.com. Daar ziet u uw openstaande facturen, kunt u betalen, retours melden en uw betaaltermijn aanpassen.

What you need to know about Klarna
What does Klarna cost?
Using Klarna is free of charge, provided you pay on time. There are no interest charges or administration fees for "Pay later" and "Pay in 3". The amount you pay at Het Vachtje is the same amount you ultimately pay to Klarna.
Buyer protection
Klarna offers buyer protection: you only have to pay once you have actually received your order. Did your order not arrive, or is something wrong? You can report this through the Klarna app and Klarna pauses your payment until the issue is resolved.
Credit check
For "Pay later" and "Pay in 3", Klarna performs a credit assessment. Klarna checks whether you qualify for deferred payment. For "Pay later" your credit score is not affected. For "Pay in 3" there may be an impact in some cases. For the exact terms, please refer to klarna.com.
Paying late costs money. If you do not pay within the set term, Klarna first sends a free reminder. If payment is still not made after that, Klarna charges reminder fees. If payment remains outstanding, the invoice can be transferred to a debt collection agency, with additional costs and possible consequences for your credit registration. Frequently asked questions
When does my payment term start?
The 30-day term for "Pay later" starts on the day we dispatch your order, not the day you order. Klarna sends you a payment instruction once the term begins.
What if I return my order?
If you return (part of) your order, we update Klarna as soon as we have processed your return. Klarna then adjusts your invoice or closes it if you returned everything. It is wise not to pay your open Klarna invoice until the return has been processed.
Can I extend my payment term?
Yes, you can extend your payment term once via the Klarna app. Sometimes this is free of charge, sometimes for a small fee. You arrange this directly in the Klarna app.
What is the minimum age to use Klarna?
You must be at least 18 years old to use Klarna. You also need to live in the Netherlands and meet Klarna's terms at the time of application.
Where do I manage my Klarna payment?
You can manage your Klarna payments in the Klarna app (free to download) or at klarna.com. There you can see your open invoices, make payments, report returns and adjust your payment term.
