Which breeds do you groom?
Our groomers care for all dog breeds, from small Maltese to large Bernese Mountain Dogs. For specific needs around Asian style, hand-stripping, Doodles, Poodles or skin and coat concerns, each groomer has their own expertise. Mila also grooms cats.
How often does my dog need grooming?
It depends on the coat type. Long and curly coats benefit from a trim every 6 to 10 weeks. Wire coats are typically stripped twice a year. Double coats may benefit from a professional deshedding session during the moult. Read more on our coat care page.
Can my puppy get used to the grooming salon?
Yes, Mila offers puppy familiarisation sessions so your puppy can calmly experience the salon, the sounds and the handling. This prevents a lot of stress later on.
What if my dog has skin issues or stress?
For dogs with Black Skin Disease, alopecia, skin folds or stress-sensitive behaviour, a groomer with the right expertise is essential. Enrico has extensive experience with this, working alongside your vet where needed.
