FEED COMMON SENSE
Canagan For Cats can be introduced during weaning, mixed with some water. When the kitten is fully weaned, Canagan can be fed from around 30g, split into 3 or 4 meals per day. The kibble may need to be crushed in the first few weeks.
When feeding Canagan for the first time, we recommend introducing him gradually over a week. On the first day, mix 25% Canagan with 75% of the previous food, on day three you take 50% of each day, day five is 75% Canagan and work up to 100% Canagan on day seven.
Every cat is unique and optimal nutritional values vary considerably depending on factors such as age, activity, metabolism and environment. As a starting point, we recommend starting at the lower end of our guide and adjusting accordingly. If the cat is overweight, reduce food intake by 10%. If the cat is underweight, increase food intake by 10%. Continue until the correct weight is reached.
