FEED YOUR CAT WITH COMMON SENSE

Canagan for Cats can be fed at weaning, mixed with some water. When the kitten is fully weaned, Canagan can be fed starting with approximately 30 grams split into 3 or 4 meals per day. In the first few weeks it may be necessary to break up the pieces.

When feeding Canagan for the first time, we recommend that you introduce Canagan over a week. On the 1st and 2nd day a mix of 25% Canagan with 75% of the previous food. On the 3rd and 4th day 50% of each. On the 5th and 6th day 75% Canagan and then 100% Canagan on the 7th day.

Every cat is unique and the optimal feeding amount varies greatly depending on factors such as age, activity, metabolism and environment. As a starting point, we recommend that you start as indicated in the overview below and adjust it if necessary.

If the cat is overweight, reduce the diet by 10%.
If the cat is underweight, increase the diet by 10%.
Continue until the correct weight is reached.
