Liver failure is common in dogs, it can be congenital or develop later in life. We speak of liver problems when a large part of the liver is affected, as a result of which the liver can no longer perform its functions sufficiently. Prins ProCare Croque Veterinary Diet Liver Support is a complete dry food especially for dogs with liver failure. This liver diet contains easily digestible ingredients, a low protein content, a high energy content and omega-3 fatty acids. L-carnitine, choline and lecithin have also been added to the diet to support fat metabolism. A limited copper content reduces copper accumulation in the liver. A dog with liver failure must be fed a liver diet for the rest of its life. Due to its specific properties, this food is also suitable for dogs with urate and cystine stones.

ProCare Croque Veterinary Diet LIVER SUPPORT can be given dry. No preparation is necessary. Make sure that fresh drinking water at room temperature is always available. Divide the daily portion of ProCare Croque veterinary Diet LIVER SUPPORT over at least two meals per day. Other supplementary feeding is not recommended. Additional information about diet food. ProCare Croque Veterinary Diet LIVER SUPPORT is especially suitable for adult dogs to support liver function in chronic liver insufficiency. Special nutritional purpose: supporting liver function in chronic liver insufficiency, also suitable for reducing urate stone and cystine stone formation and reducing copper accumulation in the liver. Essential nutritional characteristics: high-quality proteins, low protein content, high content of highly digestible carbohydrates and high content of essential fatty acids. Low purine content, moderate content of sulphurous amino acids and urinary alkalinizing properties, limited copper content. Contraindications: puppies, pregnant or lactating bitches, long-term feeding without veterinary supervision. Recommended duration of use: in case of liver failure and copper overload in the liver initially a maximum of 6 months, in case of reduction of cystine formation initially a maximum of 1 year and in case of reduction of urate stone formation a maximum of 6 months (but lifelong in case of permanent disturbance of uric acid metabolism). It is recommended to consult a veterinarian before use or before extending the period of use.
